Interventional Radiology of Colorado (a division of Diversified Radiology) is expanding and seeking a highly qualified, GME-trained vascular and interventional radiologist to join our sub-specialized practice in Denver, Colorado. Position Highlights:

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide advanced interventions at multiple Denver-area hospitals.
    • Perform procedures such as TIPS, acute/chronic limb ischemia, tumor ablation, DVT/PE thrombectomy, UFE, PAE, GAE, and interventional oncology.
    • Deliver care to a transplant center supporting liver, kidney, and stem cell transplant services.
    • Care for high-risk obstetrics patients.
    • Opportunity to help grow additional service lines.
    • RVU Target: 40 RVU per shift (paid $33 an RVU above 40)
  • Sub-Specialty Focus:

    • Dedicated to vascular and interventional radiology procedures.
    • No neuro, pediatric, MSK, breast, or nuclear medicine studies required.
    • Full sub-specialty coverage provided across hospitals and outpatient imaging centers.

Interventional Radiologist Position Requirements:

    • GME trained Vascular and Interventional Radiologist
    • ABR Board Certified/eligible
    • Expertise and professional interest in performing complex hepatobiliary and liver/kidney transplant interventions, UFE, PAE, ALI/CLI/PAD and PE/DVT interventions, among other procedures
    • General diagnostic radiology skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with comfort speaking with referring providers

Compensation Package/Benefits

    • Salary: $420k (including $400k base + $20k retention bonus) with partnership opportunities offering $500k–$550k, depending on productivity.
    • Moving Allowance: $15,000 if applicable
    • Partnership Track: 1 year for candidates with 2+ years of experience; 2 years for less-experienced candidates.
    • Productivity bonus: offered to associates and partners ($33 an RVU above target)
    • Fellowship Stipend: $1,000 monthly stipend during fellowship for those signed with Diversified Radiology.
    • Vacation: Generous time off with internal moonlighting options available.
    • Insurance: Full malpractice insurance (professional liability) and health insurance for the employee and their family, subject to eligibility.

Workflow:

    • PACS System: All imaging studies across our hospital systems and imaging partners are read using InteleViewer, which integrates seamlessly with partner PACS systems. InteleViewer allows radiologists to work from a single platform, and its Instant Messaging (IM) function facilitates communication between techs, radiologists, and our 24/7 in-house radiology support team (ATC). Radiologists can easily share case links for second opinions.
    • Dictation Software: We use PowerScribe 360 for dictation.
    • Worklist Management: Clario Smart Worklist prioritizes cases for your assigned shift and launches InteleViewer when a case is selected. Cases can be manually selected or auto-launched, with worklists optimized for urgency and efficiency.
    • AI: AIdoc for detection of intracranial hemorrhage, cervical spine fractures, PE, incidental PE.
    • Credentialing and onboarding are fully supported by administrative staff.
    • Radiology assistants and 24/7 IT support are available to ensure seamless workflow.
