Current Mississippi Medical License Required

For over 40 years, Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA), a national Independent Review Organization, has been at the forefront of facilitating reviews of medical treatments to ensure the appropriateness of those treatments.

Our panel of reviewers provides professional, independent, and unbiased opinions, citing medical literature and treatment guidelines. The aim of these reviews is to deliver the “right care, at the right time, in the right place” for patients.

Is Review Work Right for You?

  • Minimum expectation of 10 hours per week, on average, more hours if you want them.
  • Excellent way to subsidize your income, while reading medical journals and guidelines.
  • Stay informed of the latest changes and learn what treatments are being utilized by other physicians nationwide.
  • Learn how to get your own Prior Authorizations to treatment approved more quickly and easily.
  • Enjoy the flexibility to manage your own schedule, with daytime availability required for peer-to-peer conversations.

Additional Information:

  • You will be covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (traditional Malpractice Insurance is not applicable for review work).
  • Work from anywhere within the USA (per HIPAA Regulations, patient records cannot leave the US).
  • This is a non-employed Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 10 hours a week, on average of daytime availability to conduct peer-to-peer phone calls.
  • Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Must have 5 years of clinical experience post completion of residency
  • Must have an unrestricted Mississippi medical license.
  • Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card (we are unable to sponsor a VISA).
