Henry Ford Health has historically been a leader in care delivery and has taken the initiative to create a Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) across the health system to enable value-based care delivery across the enterprise by combining our physician networks to coordinate care, improve our quality measures, enhance efficiencies and better empower our patients in their own healthcare journeys. The CIN will focus on implementing new care delivery models and technologies to improve outcomes for patients while reducing costs of services for all. As the creation of the CIN is underway, Henry Ford Health is seeking an experienced physician executive to lead the work in the role of Chief Medical Officer.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Henry Ford Clinically Integrated Network acts as the leader of efforts to improve quality and efficiency of care delivery across the care continuum for a large pluralistic network of participating providers including employed medical groups, independent providers and/or providers associations, facilities, ancillary providers, and associated partners in care. The CMO is responsible for direction of the network's clinical integration program and metrics including oversight of the operational and clinical leaders supporting clinical transformation and care redesign efforts.

This includes support for Regional Medical Directors in the oversight, mentoring, and monitoring performance of member providers including patient experience, clinical efficiency, clinical documentation, resource utilization, and provider engagement. The CMO will work toward enhancing relationships with the medical community, assist and collaborate with the development and deployment of the Network strategic plan, and enhance the overall efficiency of network members and associated care partners (i.e., SNFs) in delivering high value, patient-centered care.
