PRN Hospitalist for Days or Nights Needed Southwest of Houston - 1099 or W2

IES, Integrative Emergency Services, is hiring PRN Day Shift or Night Shift Hospitalist Physicians to join our established group at St. Luke’s Brazosport Hospital, less than an hour from Houston. 1099 or W2 with occurrence-based liability insurance coverage provided (no tail coverage necessary).

St. Luke’s Brazosport Hospital is located on a beautiful, 25-acre campus in Lake Jackson, Texas just 50 minutes southwest of Houston. Offering state-of-the-art diagnostic and comprehensive treatment services, this hospital is home to a 154-bed patient tower, advanced cardiac care center, and full-service, multidisciplinary cancer center.

Hospitalist Service

• Encounters per Day: 45-55 (including admissions)
• Admissions per Day: 10-12
• Staffing:
  • Days: 2 Physicians & 2 APPs
  • Nights: 1 APP on site (with 1 Hospitalist physician on call)
• Shifts:
  • Days: 6a - 6p
  • Nights: 6p - 6a
  • 7-on/7-off schedule
• Procedures: Not required (ER physicians & Surgeon on site to assist)
• Respond to Codes: Yes (ER physicians & Surgeon on site to assist)
• EMR: Meditech (version 6)
• Dictation: Dragon

Qualifications:

• BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Texas medical license (or eligible to obtain)
• DEA
• BLS & ACLS
