Family Medicine Physician - $25k Signing Bonus!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, delivering high-quality medical services in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. This role emphasizes preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute care, ensuring continuity of care for families and individuals within the community. Supported by a multidisciplinary team and state-of-the-art facilities, the physician will play a key role in promoting health and wellness while building strong patient-provider relationships. This position offers a balance of outpatient clinical duties with opportunities for professional development and community engagement. The Family Medicine Physician will work closely with a dedicated support team, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Outpatient clinical role – no inpatient
• Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8am-12pm)
• Protected administrative time (5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week)
• 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
• Call Schedule: Minimal, shared among all physicians on a 1:7 to 1:8 rotation
• Cerner EMR
• Dedicated nurse and shared medical assistant

PATIENT VOLUME & CENSUS:

• Average Patient Volume: 18-25 patients per day
• Patient Census: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases
• Demographics: A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc.

VISIT TYPES:

• Visit Types: Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc.
• Typical Procedures: In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and women’s health screenings.
