Pediatric Hospitalist - Award Winning Hospital Located in the Stately Capital of Florida
Responsibilities:
Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Hospitalist to join its practice at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare in Tallahassee, Florida.
- Multi-specialty practice consisting of pediatric hospitalists, pediatric intensivists, and PNPs, working as a team to provide family centered quality healthcare
- The pediatric hospitalist service provides care in the 23-bed pediatric unit, as well as general pediatric admissions and normal newborn care
- Schedule of 14 days per month, call from home, flexibility in scheduling
- Level-II trauma center with a 10 bed PICU that has over 400 admissions per year
- The 32-bed NICU is the only area facility designated as a Level-III and equipped to handle high-risk moms and premature or critically ill babies
- Supported by a variety of other specialists including: pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, pediatric neurology and pediatric orthopedics
- Friendly, professional atmosphere with great nurses and ancillary services including a PICC team and a full time child life specialist
- Teaching opportunities include an affiliation with 4 residency programs
