Duke Health's Kernodle Clinic Seeks Podiatric Surgeon

Kernodle Clinic, part of Duke Health Integrated Practice and a respected multispecialty group, is celebrating 75 years of providing high-quality care to the Burlington and Mebane communities. We are currently seeking a Podiatric Surgeon to join our dynamic Podiatry Department.

As part of a large, integrated practice with 15 specialties, 58 physicians, and 47 mid-level providers, Kernodle Clinic offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working alongside a talented group of healthcare professionals.

About the Role:

• Practice Growth: Join a team of three podiatric surgeons with a well-established and busy practice. You will provide both surgical and non-surgical podiatric care at our Burlington and Mebane locations.
• Hospital Affiliation: Kernodle Clinic has a strong partnership with Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC), part of the Cone Health System, with surgical procedures performed at ARMC and a convenient outpatient surgery center in Mebane.
• Work Schedule:
• Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Surgical day: TBD
• Call rotation: Hospital and office call is shared on a 1:3 basis. Unassigned hospital call is compensated separately by the hospital and is shared with a neighboring clinic 1:7
• Supportive Team: The Podiatry Department is supported by a dedicated office staff, including receptionists, medical assistants, surgery coordinators, and a supervisor. Staff is based in Burlington but travels to Mebane on designated days to support the practice.

Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible (BC/BE) Podiatric Surgeon who has completed a residency in podiatric surgery and is certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. The ideal candidate will be a skilled surgeon who values patient-centered care, enjoys collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and is eager to contribute to the continued success of the practice.
