Mercyhealth System in Rockford, IL. is currently seeking MD/DO Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Outpatient Faculty to join our team of collaborating Physicians!

Mercyhealth System is a multi-state, integrated health system comprising of 7 hospitals, including a state-of-the-art ACS designated Level I Adult Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. With more than 600 employed physicians and 200 advance practice practitioners we service over 80 outpatient clinics and other service sites that provide care to residents in more than 55 communities throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. We provide over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care together with WATCHMAN and TAVR, cancer institute, plastic and reconstructive surgery, robotic surgery, orthopedic surgery, and much more!

Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital is located just off I-90 in Rockford IL.; is a Comprehensive Stroke Center and an ACS designated Level I Adult Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level III NICU, with advanced operating and surgery suites, including hybrid operating suites with real-time radiographic capabilities and state-of-the-art technology.

 Qualifications:

• MD/DO Board Eligible/Certified
• Residency training from an ACGME accredited internal medicine program.
• The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team.
• A passion to teach residents and medical students in didactic/clinic setting.
• Skilled at providing exceptional care.
• Previous faculty experience in an accredited residency or fellowship program is desired, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
