Join our well-established Palliative Medicine Team, where you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families from day one. In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of Palliative Medicine Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs), Social Workers, and Chaplains, creating a supportive and enriching work environment.

    • Straight Salary $231,355 - $231,355 with a generous sign-on bonus
  • Flexible Schedule:
    • Enjoy a balanced work-life with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Diverse Practice: 
    • Primarily inpatient, with participation in outpatient clinic, offering a well-rounded practice
  • Collaborative Environment:
    • Engage with multidisciplinary team to foster a holistic understanding of approach to patient care
  • Comprehensive Patient Care:
    • Deliver high-quality Palliative Medicine, focusing on patient comfort and quality of life 
    • Participation in a Large Hospice and Home-Based palliative medicine program 
  • Teaching: 
    • Share your expertise and mentor others in a supportive setting 
  • Program Development:
    • Contribute to the expansion and enhancement of our outpatient palliative medicine services, including participation in program development, research and committees.
  • EPIC EMR
  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
  • Experience a diverse and inclusive environment ensuring safe and equitable care for all patients
Training and/or experience required 
  • Completion of an accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship
  • BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
  • Illinois License or ability to obtain licensure
