The Department of Neurology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC), a major academic medical center within the Hackensack Meridian Health Network, seeks to employ a full time BE/BC NeuroOncologist. Faculty appointments are available through the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and rank is commensurate with experience.
The Neuroscience Institute at JSUMC incorporates comprehensive care in all facets of neurosciences. The center has a dedicated neuroscience and a dedicated closed neuro-critical care unit.
The Institute employs a full time neuro-oncologist Director Dr. Eduardo Correia and is actively enrolling in multiple clinical trials. The brain tumor center includes a robust group of Neurosurgeons, Neuro-oncologist, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, dosimetrists, APP's, neuropsychologists, and nurse program champions. The selected candidate will work jointly with other departmental members to grow the program. JSUMC is the first program in the country to combine Zapx and Synaptive MRI for brain tumor assessment and treatment.
