The successful applicant will be expected to work their administrative and clinical time in the Northeast region. This full-time position is split 50% administrative and 50% clinical. In addition to working clinical shifts, the successful applicant will be administratively responsible for providing oversight and direction in their region to ensure high quality medical care is provided to all patients in the Emergency Department (ED). The role will be expected to oversee and work in conjunction with other Emergency Medicine Associate Directors. Additionally, collaboration with other hospital departments is required to ensure effective delivery of services in an organized and coordinated manner. The Regional Director will also foster educational opportunities, staff selection and hiring, coaching and professional discipline with a strong focus on accountability. Education and experience (Required): Career emergency physician with proven clinical and administrative skills.
Seven (7) years of clinical practice required; Ten (10) years preferred
Three (3) years of leadership/management in EM or other pertinent and related healthcare role; Five (5) years preferred
Board certification in emergency medicine by ABEM or AOBEM
