Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a BC/BE pediatrician to join our pediatric hospitalist team. Great opportunity to practice community-based, hospital medicine in an academic system.
Job Duties
7on/7off schedule
Coverage for deliveries as needed to include coverage for C-sections. Care will be for low-risk deliveries of well infants 35 weeks and above
Level III NICU onsite
AP support in the nursery
Most admissions from community-based physicians and upon referral from ED
Receive consults from other services on admitted patients
Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents and medical students
