Psychiatry inpatient at Saint Vincent Hospital

Opportunity:

  • 100% inpatient Psychiatric Hospitalist services
  • Supporting 20 inpatient beds
  • Work involves primarily rounding on inpatients, responding to Psychiatric consults requests for patients admitted to the various medical/surgical wards, and working with Psychiatric Social Workers in the Psychiatry section of SVH’s ED
  • Hospital Employment
  • Dept. staff includes Chair of Psychiatry, two tenured Psych PA’s and a part-time Hospital-Psych MD
  • Excellent work/life balance practice with reasonable work schedule requirements
  • Academic/teaching opportunity (option) as NP/PA students rotate through SVH
  • Position vacant on account of an upcoming vacancy - Physician staff member relocating
