Penn Medicine Princeton Health will be expanding their neurology service by adding a team of Neurohospitalists. The Neurohospitalists will cover general neurology consultations for evaluation and management on a wide variety of conditions, including but not limited to stroke, TIA, seizure, headache, myasthenia gravis, and multiple sclerosis at Princeton Medical Center. An acute tele-stroke team from The University of Pennsylvania is available 24/7 to provide emergent evaluations for Acute Stroke Alerts.
The neurohospitalist will be available for bedside initial consults and follow-up. Primary admitting responsibilities will be managed exclusively by hospitalists and intensivist. The ideal candidate will have completed a stroke fellowship but not required. Flexible schedule options available.
Selected candidates will be joining a network of primary and specialty care practitioners, including board certified internists and family medicine physicians who specialize in preventive, routine, and acute care for adults and children. Princeton Medical Center is a 231-bed state-of-the-art facility on a beautiful 171-acre healthcare campus that will house the future cancer center.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates must be board eligible in neurology with NJ, DEA and CDS licensure. Candidates that are also board certified/eligible in a related sub-specialty are welcome to apply.
