Temple’s Pulmonary Hypertension/Right Heart Failure and Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH) program has experienced significant growth and seeks an additional faculty member to help further build on the programs success. Temple’s Heart and Vascular Insititue has a long history of clinical excellence, particularly in pulmonary hypertension. It offers a uniquely supportive practice environment with an emphasis on quality patient care, research, teaching, individual career development, and collegiality among faculty members.
Successful candidates will be board certified in cardiology and it is preferred that applicants have fellowship training in heart failure-transplant cardiology. In addition to educating Temple’s medical students, residents and fellows, it is strongly preferred that applicants be interested in novel research in pulmonary hypertension and right heart function. Candidates must have academic credentials that will qualify for a faculty appointment at the minimum level of Assistant Professor and be in possession of or be eligible to receive an unrestricted Pennsylvania State Medical License.
