The Department of Dermatology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking a fellowship-trained dermatopathologist to join its growing faculty. Candidates with interest in dermatopathology and general dermatology are especially encouraged to apply, since a portion of the position includes outpatient general dermatology. Temple's Department of Dermatology offers patients with all types of skin conditions some of the latest medical and surgical treatment options, as well as the opportunity to enroll in therapeutic clinical trials.
Our dermatologists are leaders in the field and are committed to increasing our understanding of dermatologic diseases through innovative research. We provide a full spectrum of comprehensive dermatology services in a variety of hospital and outpatient settings throughout the Philadelphia region, including Temple’s Health Science Campus, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Fort Washington, and Jeanes Hospital. Our ACGME-accredited dermatology residency program currently in its ninth year with nine residents. The ideal candidate will have completed an M.D. or M.D. /Ph.D. along with dermatology and dermatopathology training from ACGME-accredited programs. Board certification in dermatology and dermatopathology is required.
