Position Overview

Program: Florida Workers' Compensation (FL WC EMR)
Role: Physicians act as Expert Medical Advisors (EMAs) to:

• Resolve disputes related to reimbursement, healthcare services, and physician treatment.
• Provide expert medical opinions, peer reviews, and testimony to Judges of Compensation Claims.
• Address disagreements between independent medical examiners or other healthcare providers.

Key Requirements:

• Licensure: Must be licensed in Florida (active, with no history of major disciplinary or legal actions).
• Experience: ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) experience is preferred.
• Direct Patient Care: Must be actively engaged in providing direct patient care.
• Board-Certified: Must have been board-certified in Neurology for at least 5 years.
• Work Arrangement: This is a 1099 (at-will) role for both parties.
