Highlights:

• Schedule

  • 8 ORs + 1 Endo room + 4–5 OSC (mostly eyes and urology cases).
  • 5 rooms in OSC, endo, OB, and cysto.
  • 4–6 doctors each day depending on the schedule. They average 5 and are scheduled for 5 every day.
  • Care Team Model: mostly supervising cases and occasionally performing their own cases—3–4 doctors each day + 1–2 at OSC.
  • Cases include: bread-and-butter surgeries—General Surgery, Podiatry, Orthopedics (Total Joints), Neuro Spine, Urology, Vascular, and Thoracic (surgeon starting).
    • Healthy Peds: minimal.
    • No cardiac/hearts.

  Call

  • No OB call—CRNAs take call.
  • 3–4 days per month = 24-hour call.
  • 6–7 days per month = back-up call (beeper/home).

Trinity Health Livonia, 304-bed located at 36475 Five Mile Road at Levan in Livonia, Michigan, providing acute-care medical and health services to our community. The facility features a 24-hour emergency department, Level II Trauma Center, inpatient and outpatient surgery, general medicine, imaging services, physical medicine and rehabilitation services, intensive care unit, cancer care, cardiovascular care, senior services and birthing and women’s services.
