VA Palo Alto Healthcare System, affiliated with Stanford University School of Medicine, maintains an active Infectious Disease (ID) program within the ID Section of Medical Service. The goal of the ID Section is to deliver the highest level of quality, Veteran-centered care while providing a world class educational experience for Stanford residents, fellows, and medical students. We strive to do so by promoting a culture that focuses not only on promoting residents’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes, but equally values the principles of continuous daily improvement, respect for others, and optimizing the patient experience. ID physicians play a major role at VAPAHCS in addressing infectious diseases, infection prevention and control (IPC), and antimicrobial\ stewardship.
The Hospital Epidemiology and ID Attending Physician will be located at VA Palo Alto Health Care System, primarily at Palo Alto Division but also, with time and/or responsibilities at other VAPAHCS divisions and community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) as assigned.

Pay: $245-$300K annually
