  • Excellent perfusionists, support staff and cardiac anesthesiologists; cardiac anesthesiologists perform TEE
  • RNFA First Assistants – perform endoscopic vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting
  • 20 bed CVICU, 24 bed step down unit, 24 bed telemetry unit
  • 24/7 Intensivist coverage
  • Full-time APP coverage in the hospital dedicated solely to cardiothoracic surgery patients
  • Nursing staff is experienced; conduct daily team rounds with nursing, ICU attending, pharmacy and APPs
  • Looking to expand – surgeons and hospital are committed to developing surgical practice tailored to the surgeon
  • Interest in thoracic is appreciated – looking to develop a robotic thoracic program
  • Call and cases will be shared evenly amongst the surgeons; surgical backup and mentorship is available for newer surgeons
  • Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinic is one block from hospital; staffed with Specialty Practice Manager and Medical Assistants
