Job Description:
As the Pediatric Nursery Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the level 1 nursery at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. This includes in hospital call for attending deliveries, providing pediatric leadership for newborn unit, and supervising pediatric nurse practitioners. We are seeking a passionate and collaborative leader who is committed to providing high-quality care to our youngest patients and their families.
Qualifications:
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Eligible/Board certified in Pediatrics
• Active medical license in the state of New York
• Experience in attending deliveries and managing newborn nursery operations
• Previous experience supervising pediatric nurse practitioners preferred, not required
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement

PAY RANGE:
$150,000.00 - $200,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.

EDUCATION:
