Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team in Creedmoor, NC. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in a rural setting, addressing a wide range of medical conditions and promoting overall wellness in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform routine and preventive care, including vaccinations, screenings, and health education.
- Manage common illnesses and injuries, and coordinate care for more complex cases.
- Provide care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Community Engagement:
- Foster relationships with patients and their families, understanding and addressing their unique needs.
- Participate in community health initiatives and educational programs.
- Build trust within the community and advocate for the healthcare needs of the population.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including specialists, nurses, and support staff.
- Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up care as needed.
- Utilize telemedicine and other technologies to extend care and consultation.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Manage administrative tasks, including patient scheduling and billing, as required.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to practice guidelines.
- Emergency Care:
- Provide emergency medical care for urgent health issues when necessary.
- Be prepared to handle a wide range of medical emergencies in a rural setting.
- Professional Development:
- Stay current with medical advancements, best practices, and continuing education requirements.
- Participate in professional organizations and conferences relevant to primary care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Valid medical license in NC or eligibility for licensure.
- Board Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in a rural or underserved setting is preferred but not required.

- Strong clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage diverse patient needs.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technologies.
Working Conditions:
