Welcome to Community Health of Central WA (CHCW), where we all work together to provide the people in our region access to affordable and appropriate healthcare through our services and education. Founded by our Family Medicine Residency program (CWFM) in 1993, CHCW has grown into an integrated community health center to include full spectrum primary care, pediatric, senior and residential care, behavioral and addiction care, and dental serving the Yakima and Kittitas Counties at multiple sites.

Connect Program
CHCW’s Connect is designed to successfully treat Substance Use Disorders. Our dedicated and passionate team upholds a mission to provide a compassionate, comprehensive, holistic approach that supports patients in their journey by providing medication and behavioral health interventions.
Practice Highlights: Position is suitable for a MD/DO or APP
- Provides complete oversight and clinical management of MAT of SUD Programs.
- Ongoing development of SUD-related programming and collaboration with community partners.
- Oversees the education of CHCW providers, residents, and interested community partners on the Connect program’s SUD treatment and related programs and supports coordination of care.
- Full time position to split between Medical Director/Connect clinics, and primary care clinics.
- Flexible scheduling to include dedicated admin time.
- Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
- EMR: OCHIN EPIC.

- Base Salary: MD/DO: $200K-$210K DOE, includes Medical Director. APP: $130k-$135k DOE, includes Medical Director. Additional financial incentives apply.
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree or IMG equivalent or FNP/PA-C
- Completion of an accredited US FM Residency (MD/DO)
- Recommend minimum of 2 years prior experience (including training) in the area of addiction medicine, specifically with SUD, MAT.
- Prior leadership roles are highly desirable.
- WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license.
- DEA certificate.
- BE/BC required.
- Great peer references and in good standing.
- Approved for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and health plans.
