RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a board-certified/eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in the Observation Unit/Rapid Decision Unit (RDU) at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset.
Responsibilities for this position will include the delivery of clinical services exclusively in the 15 Bed Observation Unit/Rapid Decision Unit (RDU).
This 339-bed, fully accredited acute care community hospital provides comprehensive care services. The Emergency Department at RWJUH-Somerset, which was renovated in 2007, has 42 ED Beds, including a designated fast-track area and an 8-bed emergent psychiatric unit, treating over 50,000 patients annually.
RWJUH-Somerset is embarking on a 76,000-square-foot vertical expansion project, the most significant construction project on the hospital’s campus since 2007. The two-story addition will include its Orthopedic Center of Excellence, a 35-bed inpatient unit featuring all-private rooms and a rehabilitation gym.
Our robust team is comprised of experienced physicians, skilled advanced practice providers, and dedicated scribes! This is an excellent opportunity for an eager physician to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team that aims to provide high-level care at a community hospital.
