RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for Full Time Employment in Somerville NJ!

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a board-certified/eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Central New Jersey.

This 339-bed, fully accredited acute care community hospital provides comprehensive care services. The Emergency Department at RWJUH-Somerset, which was renovated in 2007, has 42 ED Beds, including a designated fast-track area and an 8-bed emergent psychiatric unit, treating over 50,000 patients annually.

RWJUH-Somerset is embarking on a 76,000-square-foot vertical expansion project, the most significant construction project on the hospital’s campus since 2007. The two-story addition will include its Orthopedic Center of Excellence, a 35-bed inpatient unit featuring all-private rooms and a rehabilitation gym.

Our robust team is comprised of experienced physicians, skilled advanced practice providers, and dedicated scribes! This is a great opportunity for an eager physician to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team that aims to provide high-level care at a community hospital. 

Located in the heart of the Garden State, Somerville is surrounded by beautiful suburban neighborhoods with great schools and downtowns. It is just a short drive to the bright lights of New York City or the famous Jersey Shore beaches and boardwalks!

REQUIREMENTS:

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong clinical background
