The University of Miami Health System is seeking a dedicated Assistant Professor of Pediatrics to join the Child Protection Team (CPT). This Florida-mandated program, in collaboration with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), provides a coordinated interdisciplinary approach for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of child maltreatment cases. Location & Travel:
The primary location will be the Desai Sethi Medical Center, with travel required to the CPT South Office at UHealth South Specialty Clinic and other locations in Monroe County.
The Child Protection Team is a state-mandated program that assists the Department of Children and Families (DCF) in investigating suspected child maltreatment cases. This interdisciplinary team is essential to the well-being of vulnerable children across Florida, providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment with a compassionate approach.
