The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Miami is seeking a dedicated and skilled General Cardiologist to join our healthcare team at the UHealth SoLé Mia facility. This role involves providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to both academic and educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care and consultative services to patients with diverse cardiovascular conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and oversee ongoing care.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, CT scans, MRI scans, and nuclear cardiology studies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Provide leadership to the cardiology team; mentor and teach trainees and junior staff.
• Participate in academic initiatives, teaching medical students and conducting research.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and adhere to University policies and procedures.

Desired Qualifications

• Board Certification in Cardiology
• Active Medical License from an accredited institution
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a variety of cardiovascular conditions
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic tests (echocardiograms, CT, MRI, nuclear studies)
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively
• Experience in academic and educational initiatives, including teaching and research
