About the Position

Join the esteemed Department of Urology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. This full-time Assistant Professor role specializes in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery and Urogynecology, reporting directly to the Chairman.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an attending physician at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics (UMHC), Jackson Memorial Hospital (JMH), and Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC).
  • Oversee inpatient and outpatient cases, including operating room supervision of residents.
  • Perform clinical activities through the University of Miami Medical Group (UMMG), with hands-on involvement in both inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Supervise and teach residents and fellows, covering both surgical activities and outpatient clinics.
  • Provide inpatient consultations and emergency on-call support.

Requirements

  • M.D. from an accredited medical school.
  • Board eligibility/certification in Urology.
  • Previous fellowship training (1-year minimum) in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) and/or Urogynecology (accredited or unaccredited).
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted Florida Medical License or Faculty Medical Certificate.
  • Completion of required UM online training (HIPAA/Billing Compliance).
  • Credentialing by University of Miami Medical Group, University of Miami Health System, and affiliated institutions.
