Position Summary:
The Section Head for Pediatric Nephrology holds a pivotal role within the department, providing leadership and management to ensure the effective operation and advancement of the section. This position requires a combination of clinical expertise, administrative acumen, and a commitment to fostering an environment of excellence in clinical care, research, education, and community engagement. Responsibilities include enhancing section productivity and revenue, managing complex clinical services, and fostering collaboration to ensure high-quality care and patient safety. The candidate will promote research, quality improvement, and educational alignment with best practices, while striving for regional or national recognition. Additionally, they will build an inclusive environment, set clear performance expectations, support faculty development, and manage recruitment and staffing for the section.
