If you're looking for an inspiring job, you've come to the right place. As a pediatric hospitalist physician at USACS, you will have the opportunity to touch the lives of children in our combined ED/inpatient unit, while working in a fast-paced, tight-knit environment.
- Pediatrician will be responsible for rounding on all pediatric inpatients and newborn needs within the hospital.
- Work 7 days on / 7 days off. No nights coverage; Limited night call
- Accepting new grad or experienced provider.
- Recruiting a BC/BE pediatrician or Med/Ped to newly established pediatric hospitalist program.
Salary
- Excellent compensation with an estimated employed W-2 base pay range of $74/hour to $95/hour PLUS comprehensive USACS benefits, a 10% company-funded 401k and USACS ownership stock, or an estimated 1099 base pay range of $100/hour to $134/hour.

- On Call Services: FM, IM, ICU, peds ICU, OBGYN, Surgery, Ortho, Neurosurgery, GI, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Vascular Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, ENT, Neurology
- Excellent ED nurses, techs, and ancillary staff
- STEMI center, Stroke Center, ED Approved for Pediatrics/Pediatric Medical Center designation
- Bedside ultrasound
Emergency Department
- ED Volume: 64,000
- ED Beds: Licensed for 28 ED beds; designated fast track and advanced urgent care with monitored beds area as well
- Staffing Model:
- 50 hours of physician coverage daily
- 40 hours of APP coverage daily
- EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation
- Teaching opportunities with the 5 AHWM residency programs
Pediatric Hospitalist Service
- Average daily encounters: 5
- Pediatric Hospitalist shifts are 12 hours in house
- Responsibilities include admission & discharge, patient rounding, and general Pediatric care
- Pediatric services available: Allergy/immunology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General pediatrics, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious disease, Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), Surgery, Urology?
- Excellent nursing staff, therapists, technicians, and ancillary staff
