We are looking for an experienced Medical Director of Psychiatry Services to lead our mental health division and ensure the highest standards of psychiatric care. You will also provide clinical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for psychiatric services.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Supervise and mentor psychiatry staff and other mental health professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
  • Conduct regular reviews of clinical performance and patient feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness and services.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to determine diagnoses and treatment plans in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes for patients.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy based on best practices and evidence-based approaches.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry is required.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health regulations and best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives in healthcare settings.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement.

About Pardee Hospital
