Pardee Blue MD is seeking a dedicated and skilled pediatric physician to join our growing team, where collaboration is key to providing exceptional care to children in our community. As a Pediatric Physician at Pardee Blue MD, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of health issues experienced by infants, children, and adolescents. You will engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans that focus on preventive health and early intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations of pediatric patients to assess health and development.
  • Diagnose and -eat a variety of childhood illnesses and conditions.
  • Develop and -implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Advocate for preventative care and promote healthy lifestyle choices for families.
  • Manage pediatric patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings as necessary.
  • Collaborate- with other physicians and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in patient education programs and provide resources to parents and guardians.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Pediatrics or eligibility for certification.
  • Current medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina.
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on evidence-based medicine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and community engagement

About Pardee Hospital

UNC Health Pardee is a not-for-profit health care system that was founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. It is the first hospital in the Carolinas to be accredited with the International Organization for Standardization for quality health care standards.

We are a licensed for 222 acute care beds and are the second-largest employer in Henderson County. We have several locations separate from our main campus, including a comprehensive physician practice network, multiple urgent care locations and five orthopedic clinics.
