Outpatient Pediatrician
UM Shore Medical Group at Easton, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking full-time experienced BE/BC Pediatrician to join a well-established practice with a third office location opening in Chestertown, MD. Job Description
- 100% outpatient responsibilities
- Birth- 19 years of age providing well baby, routine check ups, immunization, patient education and sick visits
- Solo practice with advance practice provider support
- Opportunity to manage and care for families within a close knit community atmosphere.
- Excellent referral sources within the University of Maryland Medical Systems
- No Hospital rounding o
- Office/Clinic hours M-F 8-4:30 pm, light call requirements
- EPIC EMR
- Opportunity to grow the practice in the community

Qualifications
- Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
- Possesses and maintains current Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics
- Required minimum of year experience and ability to work in a solo practice
- Preferred bilingual Spanish speaking providers, but not required
- Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
- Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
- Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
- Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
Other Compensation (if applicable): Generous sign on Bonus $20-25K or housing allowance of $50K towards the purchase of a home in the first year, generous relocation assistance up to 10K, sign on bonus, and a production bonus

University of Maryland Shore Regional Health serves more than 170,000 residents in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s and Talbot Counties. We are a network of three hospitals, five medical pavilions, a free-standing emergency center and an employed physician team, Shore Medical Group.
