The Hughes Center

The Hughes Center provides a highly structured, 56-bed residential treatment program for individuals who are diagnosed with an Intellectual Disability and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder, and who are experiencing significant social and behavioral difficulties within the home, school, and community environments.In addition to the educational services provided to our residential students, The Hughes Educational Center also offers community-based educational services for students with disabilities in grades 4 through 12.

The multidisciplinary clinical and practice environment at The Hughes Center is caring and collegial supported by trained clinical and administrative staff. Our mission is to improve the overall quality of life for the individuals we serve, so they may achieve their full potential and participate as independently as possible in family relationships, educational experiences, and other facets of community life.
