Saint Joseph Medical Group is the employed arm of Saint Joseph Health System. The Network includes over 40 practice sites with over 100 primary care and specialist physicians in St. Joseph, Marshall, and Elkhart Counties. 

Saint Joseph Health System (SJHS) has been present in Michiana for over 100 years. SJHS is a non-profit, full-service health care system with two hospitals and dozens of specialty and primary care offices. Located in North Central Indiana, SJHS is a regional health care network comprised of a 254-bed acute care hospital in Mishawaka, a 58-bed acute care hospital in Plymouth and 40 provider practices with over 100 primary care providers and specialists in St. Joseph, Marshall, and Elkhart counties. Saint Joseph Health System is a member of Trinity Health, one of the largest Catholic health care organizations in the United States. Trinity Health is based in Livonia, Michigan.

Plymouth, Indiana – is located in the heart of Marshall County with a population of just over 10,000 people. It is a tight-knit community where people work together to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. A large agricultural population provides a constant supply of high-quality, local produce at the city’s weekly farmer’s market and annual blueberry festival. Plymouth boasts a diversified industrial park that is home to approximately 70 businesses, and it is still growing. The community is recognized for its strong school system for academic and athletic achievements, a 50,000-volume library, and an outdoor amphitheater. The Plymouth Arts Commission – Encore Performing Arts bring nationally recognized entertainment to the community.

Plymouth is also recognized for its extensive park system, most notably Centennial Park, complete with the Bill Nixon Baseball Stadium. Lake Maxinkuckee, the second largest spring-fed lake in Indiana, also offers plenty of sailing and water-skiing.
