About Santa Fe, New Mexico

Santa Fe is the state capital and just an hour north of the Albuquerque metro area. It offers great venues for outdoor sports such as downhill skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing.   There are a number of national monuments and historical sites in the area as well as a wealth of cultural experiences to take in.  Santa Fe provides a wealth of museums, art galleries, and activities for all interests and has been named a UNESCO creative city and frequently appears on “Top Ten” lists for tourist destinations, air quality, and one of the Greenest Cities in the US. On average there are 325 sunny days per year. Santa Fe’s 7,000 ft. altitude keeps temperatures moderate with a high averaging 86 in July to lows near 17 in January. There are four distinct seasons with frequent, dramatic summer thunderstorms, and occasional snowstorms in winter. The temperate climate boasts bright blue skies and sunshine throughout the year with mild winters and low annual rainfall. The low humidity and skies free from smoke make the climate one of the most healthful in the United States!

About Presbyterian Medical Services - Santa Fe Community Guidance Center

PMS' Santa Fe Community Guidance Center (SFCGC) is located in the state capital! This health center has an integrated model of care - delivering Behavioral Health Services and Primary Care and to the adult population. PMS has a sister health center, the Santa Fe Family Wellness Center, that provides the same services to our child and adolescent population. 

Our 2 story health center boasts  8  exam rooms, a drug room, a lab,  waiting room (of course), and more.  We offer several services to include, Retinal Imaging, Women's Health Servies, Addiction Services, MAT for opioid use disorders, and more. We currently have 22 therapists, 5 Psych providers, 4 medical Providers, 6 PACT providers, a mobile crisis response team, and 12 community support workers. 

We have a new Regional Medical Director, Susan Miller, MD who has been a wonderful mentor to our providers. Additionally, the SFCGC has a Region Director, Larry Martinez, and Site Administrator, Anne Baker, who are also available for support and direction.
