MacNeal Hospital is a 374-bed community hospital that is a fully accredited teaching hospital. MacNeal Hospital is part of Loyola Medicine, which includes Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) in Maywood, IL, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital (GMH) in Melrose Park, IL, and Saint Joseph Health System in Northern Indiana. Loyola Medicine also trains the next generation of caregivers through its academic affiliation with Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine and the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.
