Plastic Surgeon, Fellowship Trained in Hand Surgery – Brown Academic Appointment, Providence, RI

Lifespan Physician Group (LPG), the largest physician organization in Rhode Island and academically affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University has an opening for a board certified or eligible Plastic Surgeon fellowship trained in Hand Surgery. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the most renowned hand surgeons in the country while helping to build a world class hand fellowship program.

About the job:

  • Work alongside two other plastic surgeons fellowship trained in hand surgery
  • Advanced practice providers and experienced medical assistants
  • Call 3-4 times per month
  • Ultrasound and occupational hand therapy in the office suite
  • Dedicated minor procedures room with Mini “C” Arm
  • Typical schedule is 2 clinic days, 2 OR days and 1 admin day with protected research time
  • Clinical Academic Appointment to Brown University
  • Diverse patient panel with an emphasis on trauma
  • Ability to develop subspecialties and clinical research including QI
  • Experienced, internationally recognized mentors
  • J1 and H1b visa friendly

  • Board certified or eligible in Plastic Surgery
  • Fellowship trained in Hand Surgery
  • Possess a passion for teaching and continued learning
