Kilmarnock is the commercial hub of the Northern Neck and the largest incorporated town in Lancaster County. Not only is it an ideal retirement community there are also great opportunities for growing families. Local schools, both public and private are nearby and there are recreational facilities, like Compass, located on Irvington Road in Kilmarnock which houses a state of the art movie theatre, putt putt golf, arcades to name just a few of their attractions. Lovely golf courses and local wineries nearby.  Kilmarnock is fast-becoming a retirement and boating destination due to our proximity to the Chesapeake Bay and year-round mild temperatures.
