Physician Assistant (PA) - Department of Orthopaedics

Dartmouth Health / Cheshire Medical Center is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Orthopaedics Department in Keene, NH. The ideal candidate will have experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care, Anesthesia, and/or Orthopaedics. The PA will work in a multi-disciplinary, preoperative team. Most of the time will be spent in the outpatient clinic, with additional responsibilities including assisting in the OR during surgeries, performing same-day and ED consults and procedures, inpatient rounding, and conducting surgical history and physicals. This position is ideal for a PA looking for a fast-paced, collegial environment with diverse responsibilities. The PA will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide team-based, high-value quality care to patients of all ages. The position is Monday through Friday, with hours approximately from 7:30 am to 5 pm. There is also a call component, with weekday and weekend calls at a 1:7 ratio when fully staffed, which is compensated. Benefits at Cheshire Medical Center:

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience required. Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the state of New Hampshire. Academic preparation at the Master's level required.
• CPR Certified.
• ACLS Certified (Can obtain within the first year of employment
