Job Description

The Section of Neurosurgery in the Department of Surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking an experienced, full-time Advanced Practice Provider (FNP or PA-C) to provide inpatient care to Neurosurgery patients. The APP will provide health care, including assessing physical and psychosocial status, health history, physical examination and diagnostic tests, interpretation of data, implementation of therapeutic plans, and follow-through as needed.  This position will care for adults and pediatric patients and should have the experience and ability to handle bedside procedures. The APP will also provide health education and counseling to patients and/or family members and assist with the integration of care by other providers and make appropriate referrals.

Requirements:
  • PA-C or FNP
  • Surgical first-assist license for those interested in OR time
  • Ability to obtain/maintain NH license
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
