NES Health seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice at Carlsbad Medical Center located in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

• Tele Interventional Radiology

• Anesthesiology
• Tele-Intensivists 24/7

• Hospitalist
• General Surgery
• Podiatry
• Gastro
• Optho (limited)
• Plastics (limited)
• ENT (limited)
• Cardio (limited)
• Neurology (tele)
• 90 min lab turn around times

About the Program and Hours

• 12 bed ED plus triage room and group hold room for 4 people
• 22,500 Annual Visit ED
• 9% admission rate from ED
• 12hours/day of ED scribe coverage
• ED responds to floor codes
• 12-hour Physician Shifts (24 hours/day)
• 12-hour APP Shifts (12 hours/day)

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
• Candidate Must be PA or FNP trained and boarded
• Active BLS, ATLS, ACLS, and PALS
