Excellent opportunity for a dynamic Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with interest in Orthopedic Spine Surgery to join our team of highly trained Orthopedic Surgeons at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center (BDWMC).  We provide care to a varied group of patients with orthopedic spine surgical needs. Our APP will see new patients and follow up with patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic. Qualified candidates must be autonomous, have an eagerness to learn, excellent work ethic and can work in a collaborative environment; one that thrives in a highly integrated and innovative setting; and a desire to focus on patient excellence. 

Qualifications:

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• ACNP candidates will require RNFA certificate at the time of application
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of AZ
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
• Experience in Orthopedic/Spine preferred, but new graduates with General Orthopedic knowledge are encouraged to apply

Practice Details:

• Full-time | Monday – Thursday 7 AM– 4 PM; Friday 7 AM - Noon
• Call: Minimal Practice Call; No Hospital Call
• Practice currently consists of one surgeon and one PA
• Primarily an Outpatient Clinic role with opportunity for some first-assist if desired 
• Provide care from the initial patient point of contact to pre-surgical requirements, and post-op follow-ups
• Patient-focused, friendly, and collaborative
• Highly engaged Leadership and collaborative OR team
