Excellent opportunity to join a team-oriented group of APPs, Physiatrists, and Neurosurgeons caring for spine patients at a Level 1 Trauma Center located in beautiful Peoria, IL. The Hospital outpatient Department Practice consists of a full-time interventional physiatrist, providing pain management services and rehabilitation as part of its spine program.  There is an anesthesiologist hired by OSF SFMC with an interest in pain working one day/week at Penn Ave.  There are 8 primary neurosurgeons and 8 APPs providing comprehensive neurosurgical services. Expected pay for this position is $55.20 - $63.65/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

 
Position Details: 

• Obtain a patient history
• Perform a physical examination
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment
• Order, conduct and interpret diagnostic tests
• Formulate a diagnostic impression
• Develop and implement a treatment plan
• Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
• Prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments
• Facilitate appropriate consultations and referrals
• Provide counseling and education to meet patient needs 
• Performs trigger point injections
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
• Comply with all required compliance policies

    • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
