Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician Assistant

Position Overview

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is growing to serve our community. More than 2,000 primary care and specialty physicians, as well as more than 800 advanced practice clinicians, are employed by the health network through LVPG.

Our Bethlehem practice is looking to hire an experienced Physician Assistant. At our Bethlehem location, there are 9 Physicians, 4 APCs, 15 MA's, 4 RN's, 1 Office Coordinator and 1 Clinical Coordinator.  The office is open Monday-Thursday 7a-7p, Friday 7a-6p and Saturday 8a-12p. Call is rotated between all the Physicians and APC's. Patient slot durations consist of 40 minutes for new, wellness/prevententative, TOC, and medical clearance and 20 minutes for return patients and acute visits. Full time is considered 36 patient facing hours with part time being considered.  

The division of internal medicine is growing with more than 20 practices and 100 clinicians.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• A current Pennsylvania Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required
