St. Louis, MO-The 2013 PracticeMatch Educational Conference will be held in Charleston, SC, April 7-10. This annual event provides in-house physician recruiters the opportunity to learn about important industry topics, network with their peers, and learn more about the PracticeMatch system for recruiting physicians without using third-party recruiters.

The conference will be kicked off by keynote speaker, Liz Jazwiec, who asserts “Employee satisfaction boils down to knowing how we make a difference and how the work we do has purpose and meaning.” Jazwiec is a renowned speaker, strategist and consultant, who has also been a vice president of patient care, executive search professional, organizational development leader and emergency department director. She feels that the biggest crisis we face in healthcare today is that the people working in it no longer feel heroic. In her book, Eat That Cookie, she explains that we are fortunate to work in a field in which we can, at any moment, make a difference in someone’s life.

Other topics at this year’s conference include: marketing physician opportunities, diversity in physician hiring, writing effective recruitment emails, making connections with local residency programs, tracking recruitment metrics, behavioral interviewing, and more.
