Shift Details: Academic Primary Care
Hartford HealthCare is seeking a full-time Academic Primary Care Physician to join the core faculty team for the newly established Quinnipiac University Rural Family Medicine Residency in Winsted, CT. This exciting role offers the opportunity to shape the education of future rural family medicine physicians while providing primary care to patients across all age groups, from newborns to adults (adult only care optional).
Academic Primary Care Position Details:
- Role: Academic Primary Care Physician, combination of clinical and faculty responsibilities
- Location: Winsted, CT (Litchfield County in western CT)
- Setting: 100%, office-based, outpatient Primary Care
- Schedule: Full-time, weekdays only, mix of precepting, patient care, and administrative time
- Phone Call Only: averages only 2 call weekends per year and 1-weeknight ~ 2 months
- Base salary: starts at $250,000 and up
- Other compensation: Uncapped incentive bonus, Loan repayment support, Sign-on bonus, Relocation stipend
