Tele-Radiologist Opportunity with TPMG

Location: Sacramento, CA
Facility: Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center

Overview: TPMG is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tele-Radiologist to join our esteemed group of 20 radiologists serving the South Sacramento facility. This opportunity has arisen due to three recent and upcoming retirements. You can choose to work remotely as a Tele-Radiologist or join our team onsite, where you'll have the chance to perform procedures and participate in committees or tumor boards.

Position Details:

  • Shifts: 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week (2 daytime and 2 afternoon/evening). Flexible with evening preferences.
    • Daytime: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    • Afternoon/Evening: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Call Schedule: 9-10 weekends per year, including holidays, with remote coverage. Onsite staff cover fluoro calls.
  • Case Mix/Volumes:
    • X-ray: Minimum of 100 X-rays per shift (20/hr)
    • Cross Section: 25 CT, MRI, and 15-20 US in a 5-hour shift. Experience with trauma preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $440,000 - $475,000 annually, plus additional incentives.
  • Bonuses: Annual Year-End Quality Bonus and additional shareholder incentive payment.
  • PTO: 3 weeks (30 Units), increasing to 4 weeks after 5 years, and 5 weeks after 11 years.
  • Retirement Plans: Pension and 401k with employer contributions.
  • Health Insurance: Premiums covered for employees and dependents through Kaiser and Cigna.
  • Additional Benefits: CME allowance, relocation assistance, malpractice coverage (including tail), and more.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Board Certified in Radiology.
  • Licensing: Active and unrestricted license to practice in California, including CA fluoroscopy license.
  • Experience: Experienced candidates preferred, but new fellows are welcome to apply.
  • Residency: Must reside in California.

Facilities:

  • Location: Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center, a 241-bed Level 2 Trauma Center.
  • Technology: Barco monitor, workstation, iPhone, Powerscribe for dictation, EPIC EMR.
