Akron Children’s Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pediatric Surgeon to join our Division of Pediatric Surgery. We are a dynamic academic division dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, education, and research. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside six experienced colleagues, contribute to the education of rotating general surgery residents, and benefit from robust support from our 24/7 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide expert surgical care to pediatric patients, including advanced minimally invasive surgery techniques.
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the growth of our programmatic offerings.
· Teach and mentor rotating general surgery residents, fostering their growth in pediatric surgery Contribute to research and academic activities to elevate our division's academic profile.
Qualifications:
· Board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Surgeon
· Early or mid-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
