Medical Director- Anesthesiology

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Medical Director to oversee our Anesthesiology Department for our Augusta Hospital location. Our newly acquired Augusta community is building a strong physician team of anesthesiologists. The ideal candidate will have great experience and possess the motivation and expertise to continue providing excellent clinical care to a thriving medical community. This is a senior-level, executive position requiring medical director experience. The division medical director provides leadership and guidance for division initiatives within the Anesthesiology Service Line. The position includes administrative and clinical responsibilities.

Requirements & Highlights:

·        BC/BE MD

·        Possess a skill set to perform perioperative anesthetic care and maintain medical management of patients pre- and postoperatively

·        Active license in GA

·        Ability to supervise and manage CRNAs on staff

·        Assist the other team members in providing adequate anesthesia coverage for patients 24 hours a day/7 day a week
